The IPP Sinjar clinic for psychotherapy was founded in 2022 by the institute of psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology /University of Duhok in cooperation with the German universities in the state of Baden Wurttemberg. The core funder of the clinic is the German government as well as the university of Duhok. Services in the clinic are free for all papulations.

After our country went through many types of massacres, genocides and traumas, still continuing until now, many people started to feel unhappy or sad in their everyday lives, and to have excessive thoughts about what happened. This Clinic is a place where people can express themselves, process the difficulties in their lives, and get help in professional, scientifically tested ways.

Psychotherapy free services are available for all population from Shingal districts especially for Sinon and Kabarto camp, after the war many people displaced from their places and psychologically suffered.
