Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology Launches Specialized Training Program for CIGE Staff

The University of Duhok's Institute of Psychotherapy and Psychotraumatology conducted an intensive training program for the staff of the Commission of investigation and Gathering Evidence in Duhok (CIGE) units. This initiative aims to enhance the psychological and communication skills of investigators and psychosocial support personnel, equipping them to better serve survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) and individuals experiencing psychological distress.

The training was conducted during the period 10th to 20th February 2025 in the IPP building inside the university of Duhok campuses. Expert lecturers deliver comprehensive sessions on psychological assessment, trauma-informed care, and advanced communication techniques.
